News update from Ocean Secretarial

I am a fully qualified Personal Assistant with more than 20 years experience working at Board Director level. I'm not an agency temp, I am an independent professional and decided to offer my secretarial expertise to a wider audience after helping out a number of friends and contacts with their typing and administrative tasks, realising that there was a real need for a virtual assistant/secretary. As the internet is such a powerful means of communication it enables me to offer remote administrative assistance to any organisation or small business.

Because I am not tied to normal office times, I can offer flexible working hours to suit and am happy to undertake one-off as well as regular assignments, providing flexible administrative support via e-mail or internet, telephone, fax and post.

During my working life I have learnt how to organise myself and more importantly others around me. I have learnt how to keep people happy and look on every job as an opportunity. You won't feel like “just another client”.

I have a comprehensive range of skills gained from working in a wide range of industries. With a wealth of experience in specialist fields such as writing, subbing, presenting and administration.

  • Audio Typing (RSA I, II and III).
  • Shorthand (Pitman - 90 wpm).
  • Typewriting (RSA I, II, III).
  • Word Processing (RSA III).
  • Proficient (Advanced certificated) in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Access, and Word.
  • MOUS (Microsoft Office User Specialist) certified as a Word Expert level user.
  • Proficient user of the Internet and e-mail.
